Edge Servers 2016 Cannot forward to intendeed mailbox RRS feed

    Hi Guys,

    please help, currently, I just upgraded mail servers exchange 2010 to exchange 2016 and then the emails have gone well,

    so I decided to decommission Old mail servers in exchange 2010, here this procedure decommission that I did
     1. Uninstall Edge Servers 2010 ( the email still working Well)
     2. uninstall CAS Server 2010 (the email has been stuck in Edge Servers)
    this issue occurs when I did decommission old CAS Servers,

    so all the emails have been stuck in the edge servers for incoming and outgoing emails, I already tried to re-create new subscription but the email still keep on the edge servers,

    please help what should I do,

    Hi Deby IT,

    You have uninstalled Edge server in step 1, do mean mails stuck in Exchange 2016's Edge server? Do you recreate Edge Subscriptions with Exchange 2016 Mailbox server? Do you switch public DNS from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2016?

    I want to confirm with you: After removing Exchange 2010 CAS server, mails are cannot be sent to Edge server or could be sent to Edge server however will be stuck on the Edge server? If mails stuck on Edge server, it means this issue is related with wrong configure on Edge server's send connector. 

    Could you try to create a send connector sends mails to the internet successfully? (bypass Edge server) , If you could send mails to the internet, it means this issue isnot caused by Exchange 2016 Mailbox server.
