  • Hi,

What type of email account do you use (POP, IMAP, MAPI or Exchange)? So this only happens to those "moved to a folder" emails?

As mentioned by Clark, this may occur due to lots of reasons. As an initial troubleshooting step, simply perform an instant search within Outlook and see if you can find the missed messages.

It could also be some corruptions in your Outlook data file. If you are using a .pst file, try to run Inbox Repair tool (Scanpst.exe) to repair your .pst file, and see if that works:

If you are running an Exchange account, you can simply delete the existing .ost file (or rename it to .ost.old), then restart Outlook and verify result again.

Please feel free to post back with any findings.
