Windows Media Maker 2.1.4026.0 saved movie file renders in pink

Hi

I have created a MSWMM project file with a leading title two clips and fade transistions

When I go to use "File|Save Movie File..." the output movie file displays as mostly pink, yet in the Windows Movie Maker embedded Media Player the colour pallette is correct

Is the codec corrupted? and how can I fix this

I have tried several output formats and they all create a similar effect
