Replication Link Analyzer RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello - I have a single parent with 50 secondary's with PXE, DP and MP roles.

Over the weekend 1 of the sites Replication Link broke, I ran the analyzer:

I don't know what this means or how to fix it, can you help?

Note: The secondary server is running normally from what I can tell.

  • You may be able to reinitialize replication following the guidance at https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/umairkhan/2014/03/24/configmgr-2012-drs-troubleshooting-faqs/.

You may be better off just rebuilding the secondary site though.

  • long story short, this server was all green and then shipped to another location and was offline 30 days and now it will not replicate. But all the components are running.

How can I kick start it? "Link has failed"

Data Retention is at the default of 10 days ( I didn't plan to have this server offline this long)
