Can any body help how this option can be stopped to display or disabled.

If user starts using this option it will be a big issue.

  • Hi  Vinay,

I understand that you upload a report to a document library in a SharePoint  site .Then when other users browse to the report ,they can add Subscriptions  to the report easily through the ‘Manage Subscriptions’ control . In order to disable this action ,here are two workarounds :

    ·         When you add a role in the Report Manager and give him the permission to Manage all Subscriptions , he will be able to add a subscription to the report in SharePoint when click on the Manage Subscription .If the role doesn’t have the permission to Manage all Subscription ,then he can access the Manage Subscription page ,but he cannot add a subscription . So you can take away the user’s permission by browsing to the Report Manager through this url  :http://servername /Reports (Replace the servername part with your Reporting server name ).Then edit the role permission .

    ·         Add a SQL Server Reporting service Report Viewer web part on a page which can display all the reports in a document library .Then disable the ‘Open with report builder’ and ‘Subscribe’ choice under the Actions button .
