How to get rid of error chkdsk/f RRS feed

  • Trying to defrag but get error message chkdsk/f is scheduled. Can't eliminate this error message.

    This quastion is not related to this forum. It should be placed in XP SP3 or Vista.

    Anyway, I will try help you. You can't disable or eliminate this msg. It is because Windows found same error(s) onto your hard drive you run deferag.
    What you should do is go: My computer, right click on selected drive - properties - Tools tab and error - checking / scan now.
    This tool will scan your hard drive and fix any errors. 

    HOWEVER: before above move, clean up your Hard Drive from temp files, etc. To do so, go to programs - accessories - system tools - cleanup / select all and let windows remove all temp and zipped files.
