WSUS - Which Windows 10 chose

Question
-
Hi,
I would like to implement the WSUS service on a Windows Server 2012 server. I installed the service but now I do not know what to choose in the service itself in the "products and classifications" section in terms of Windows 10. What are the differences between this versions ? I would like WSUS to be able to install the latest version of windows 10, as the new version will appear. Which item to choose?
Windows 10 version 1809 and Later Servicing Drivers
Windows 10 version 1809 and Later Upgrade & Servicing Drivers
Windows 10 Dynamic Update
Windows 10 Feature On Demand
Windows 10 GDR-DU FOD
Windows 10 GDR-DU LP
Windows 10 GDR-DU
Windows 10
I understand that if I have the latest version of W10 1809 on all computers, I have to choose only Windows 10, version 1809 and later, Servicing Drivers in WSUS?
If I had more types of Windows 10 then I have to choose everyone? Or maybe Windows 10 (without any additional descriptions) means all windows?

Hello,
First, Here are the Dynamic Updates, which are used during setup and upgrades.
- Windows 10 Dynamic Update: contains updates to the Setup engine and updates to the servicing stack.
- Windows 10 GDR-DU: contains the DU versions of Cumulative Updates.
- Windows 10 GDR-DU FOD: contains the Feature on Demand dynamic updates. These are used to download the equivalent version of Feature on Demand features you've installed in your current OS version, for the target OS version during upgrades.
- Windows 10 GDR-DU LP: same as above, but for the actual language packs that change the display language.
<g class="gr_ gr_41 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-ins replaceWithoutSep" data-gr-id="41" id="41">Next</g> are things for the running OS.
- Windows 10 Feature on Demand: contains sources to install feature on demand. Mostly language stuff.
- Windows 10 Language Pack: contains the language pack binaries to add additional languages to the running system.
- Windows 10 Language Interface Pack: lightweight language packs.
<g class="gr_ gr_42 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-ins replaceWithoutSep" data-gr-id="42" id="42">Next</g> are the drivers. There are 2 variants, and they exist per Windows 10 major build version.
- Drivers: for use within the running operating system. These contain drivers that can be downloaded and deployed to a running Windows.
- Upgrade and servicing drivers: drivers that are used downloaded as Dynamic Updates by the Setup engine during upgrades. The goal of these drivers is to ensure that you have proper compatible drivers after your upgrade, as sometimes certain drivers have issues and need to be updated to work properly.
Generally, just select "Windows 10" is enough.
Hope my answer could help you and look forward to your feedback.
Best Regards,
Ray

I'm sorry, I was sick.
I understand correctly? I just need to select "Windows 10" and nothing more in my case?
If I select only this option, the systems will automatically upgrade to the latest version using WSUS (as soon as it appears)?

Hello,
Yes, "Windows 10" is enough.
To enable upgrade, don't forget to select "upgrades" in classifications.

Hello,
Thanks for the help.
I have one more question. Initially, I marked a lot of items. How to remove downloaded updates and start synchronizing and downloading from the beginning.

Uninstall WSUS and mark Content and SUSDB for deleting by Uninstall.

Hello,
If you do not want to perform the re-installation. Here is another option.
Recreating the SUSDB and WSUS Content folder
https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/sus/2016/10/18/recreating-the-susdb-and-wsus-content-folder-for-a-windows-server-2012-based-wsus-computer/
After doing this, when you first launch the WSUS console, it will bring up the WSUS Configuration Wizard. You can run through this wizard if you would like and select your options such as products, upstream server and proxy.
Hope my answer could help you and look forward to your feedback.
