Mails missing in Outlook and Exchange RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear All,

we have faced a strange issue in Microsoft Exchange server.

User is not able to visible the mails which are created in Inbox Sub folders (only for particular Folders). The mails are not showing in the deleted items and also tried to recover the deleted mails. But no use.

But we have checked with the team who manages exchange server, they provided the last one month mails of the user in PST file and there also we couldnt see the mails.

can anyone suggest what can be done from the exchange or client side.

Thanks and Best Regards Hamza kPK

Are you sure you don't have any filters set on those folders?

  • Hi,

Please try to run with /resetfolders /cleanviews and then check the issue again.

Please check if you can find these mails from OWA.

Besides, please try to restore the mailbox from backup.

By the way, what is the version of your Exchange Server.

  • Run outlook /resetfolders & outlook /cleanviews

also check in outlook find (whether you able to see items in search result)
