If VBScript is to be depreciated in Windows 10... RRS feed

  • Well it is appreciated by many.  Microsoft wants to depreciate it but that is finacial.

    The term is really "deprecated" meaning that it is still available but we should consider not using it in any new tools.  "Deprecated" items will eventually be removed from the OS like WordPad, Edit and Posix etc.

    Usuallly,for most vendors, a deprectaed item is no longer updated, fixed or documented.  I don't knowwhat Microsoft's policy is regarding how long a deprecated item will remain available.
