Performance Point Server 2007 configuration problem (collation problem) RRS feed

  • Question

  • hi everybody,

I am trying to deploy Performance Point Server 2007 (PPS-2007) to our server.
I successfully install the PPS-2007 then I try to configure PPS-2007 but I fail.
my server collation is Turkish_CI_AS. In Turkish uppercase of "i" is not "I". uppercase of "i" is "I" with point like "İ".
when i start to "Monitoring Server Configuration Manager", configuration always fails
Error like  Invalid object name 'SYS.SERVER_PRINCIPALS'.
then I open the MsSQL Managent Studio
when I try to execute the; Select * from SYS.SERVER_PRINCIPALS the program returns "Invalid object name 'SYS.SERVER_PRINCIPALS'"
but when when I try to execute the; Select * from SYS.SERVER_PRiNCiPALS the program returns the users (it works!!!)

what must I do to configure the Performance Point Server 2007

    best regards.

  • Hello Kivanc,

Unfortunately PerformancePoint does not support the Turkish_CI_AS collation. The only collations supported by PerformancePoint coincide with the supported languages for PerformancePoint.

Look here for a list of supported languages.

    Thanks,
