  • Exchange does not create DNS records.  You must do that yourself in your own DNS or have your ISP do it depending on what you have contracted.

  • hi,

If you want to send / receive mail to/from internet. You should first create a accepted domain that match your domain name on public.

Then you should set the receive connector to allow Anonymous.

    Create a send connector.

Create a MX record on your ISP side.

    hope can help you

    thanks,

  • In internal DNS, "A record" should be created for Client Access "mail.contosol.ir"

You need not to create MX record in internal DNS.

From internet MX should searched for "contosol.ir"

  • If you have created the MX record in your local DNS, then that is the wrong place. The internet doesn't use the local DNS on your servers.

You need to create the host name in your public DNS, which will usually be where you have registered your domain. Then once you have created the host name (a record) you can set that as your MX record host.

PTR is set by your ISP, you will need to contact your ISP to set that, which needs to match the host name you have configured for the IP address.
