    I am using win vista and do not care for the paint program that came with it, is it possible to download a paint program for win 7 on my vista machine.

    As far as I know, there is no official download for Windows 7 paint program. You can use Vista built-in paint program.

    I have never heard about transferring native program that are integrated in os setup. Instead I use third party or free programs like Gimp.
