    I have ssd on a Alienware Aurora. The thing freezes up whenever txt entry is envolved, I dearly want my windows 7 back but I cannot find the driver on the installation disc so I am stuck with no computer, or rebooting my computer every minute whenever youtubing or entering txt. Lawds I hope I make it to the end of writing this post before it does its broadway number on me again PAAAAATCH

    addendum: btw I can game for hours on Diablo, or even a-HEM cityville a-HEM with no probs. This computer is brand spanking new and it has some power (8.1 score). That'll teach me to LEARN TO DO BACKUPS BEFORE MEETING ANG TAKING HOME STRANGE SOFTWARE.

    How much longer before we get a patch M$? I mean I can barely use my Alienware anymore, the OS freezes up on me before I can do anything of note? Im wondering whether this post will even make it its so bad?

    Do you use an Intel CPU?

    If yes, try this workaround:

    bcdedit /set disabledynamictick yes
