Project Server 2007 Usage View RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • I have created several different enterprise task usage views in Project Server 2007. For each view, I would like to set the view options in the Details Pane (display actual work and save timescale settings) for all users so that it does not need to be adjusted each time the project is opened.  Is this possible?

The technique I use is to open an enterprise project in Read-Only mode and then create the custom view in this project.  This allows you to test it and set it up exactly the way you want users to see it.  So, try that technique and then set the details you want users to see in the timephased grid, and set the level of zoom as well.  Then, open the Enterprise Global file and use the Organizer to copy the new view (and table, filter, and group, if needed) from the Read-Only project to the Enterprise Global file.  It should work.  Let us know if this helps.
