This is regarding error what I found when opening sharepoint files via Windows 8/8.1 OS.
When I’m opening sharepoint document ( Word / Excel etc.) the associated Office application starts, but the selected file is not opened or downloaded.
Recently I have this issue with windows 7 and windows Vista then I have installed MS Fixit 50711 and then resolved that issue.
But, Fixit 50711 was not supported to win 8/8.1 OS. Therefore currently we cannot work on our sharepoint with win 8/8.1.
Do you have any new fixit version supported to win 8?
