  • Question

  • Hi,

I saved a project as template in Project Server 2013. But when I want to us it : File / New... I find a lot of templates supplied by Microsoft, but not my template.

How and where can I found my template?

    Thanks

Welcome to one of the frustrating new features of Microsoft Project 2013.  Here is what you need to do:

    1.  Click the File tab and then click the Options button in the Backstage.

    2.  Click the Save tab in the Project Options dialog.

    3.  In the Default personal templates location field in the Save templates section of the dialog, manually enter the path for your default Templates folder based on the example below, or use the Browse button to navigate to your default Templates folder.

    C:\Users\YourUserID\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates

    4.  Click the OK button.

On the New page in the Backstage, you will now see a PERSONAL link in the upper left corner of the page.  Click the PERSONAL link and you should see your new project template.  Hope this helps.

If I understood your question correctly, when you click File > New, at the top of the Backstage you´ll see two options - one of them is ENTERPRISE. Click there and you will be able to see the template you have saved in Project Server 2013.
