Windows server 2008 r2 cant install important updates - error 80070643

  Hi valekz,

  1. What is the update which failed to be installed, you may provide the KB number;

  2. Please use System Update Readiness Tool to help detect problems:

  https://www.microsoft.com/en-sg/download/details.aspx?id=14668

  3. Run sfc /scannow to check if there are corrupted or missing system files;

  Anne, thank you for response.

  1. for example: kb4012215 and kb4012204

  2. no errors in CheckSUR.log

  3. no errors in system files

  fsutil resource setautoreset true c:\

  has resolved the issue
