Problems with meeting invitation in Outlook and Conference ID RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi!
I am currently having some complaints when it comes to the setup of info in the Skype for Business-meeting mail.
All of a sudden the Conference ID have been placed behind the dial in number followed by ",,". I can not find any place that this is a setting. Before we only had the Conference ID in the correct place at the bottom of the invite.
Does anyone have any clue as to how to remove the conf ID from behind the dial in number?

  • Hi,

Please kindly note the commas are not abnormal display and it is designed for the usage of OneTapJoinForPSTNCalling on mobile.

In the meeting invite, the "Join by phone" section now creates hyperlinks for the dial-in numbers that includes a pause (the comma) followed by the Conference ID.

This is especially useful when a user wants to join the conference using a mobile phone that doesn’t have the Skype for Business mobile app installed.

And you will find the detailed introduction in the following blog:

  • Hi,

This is made by Outlook so that when you click the number in a mobile phone it will dial the number including ,, and then the confid. ,, will cause a pause so that the phone will wait and then enter the conf id. You cannot change this behavior.

  • Hi Eirik81,

Yes, I'm afraid only this method could have a try currently, we didn't get any other official articles introducing this feature.
