Windows Vista Service Pack 1

I am trying to install Windows Service Pack 1. It continues to stall during the installation process. The file is 936,000 KB. I only have sympatico light internet access. This is not a high speed connection. What is the solution to successfully install this file?

I'm used to install every Service Pack from the standalone installer and I suggest you to work this way too.
You can find the Windows Vista Service Pack 1 at the following links
