  • i have found 1000's of warnings in my administrative events what does it all mean and do i have a major problem going on with my computer

    No, even fully functional systems can have upwards of a dozen warnings per day. Most if not all warnings can be ignored as they are extremely trivial issues, such as DNS, etc. There are many different kinds of warnings of course, but most are trivial as I noted.

    Critical and Error entries are what you should worry about, however in most cases you should never really look at event logs unless you're trying to diagnose a problem you already know exists. Looking at it just to look at it (unless you're a bored sysadmin) will cause unnecessary stress over problems that don't actually exist.
