  • Question

  • Hi all,

Just figured that i can't download IEAK 10 at microsoft site anymore. Is is possible to get a copy from some other sources? We'll need it to deploy IE10 via SCCM.

  • IEAK 10 is no more available because it's no more supported. You will need IEAK 11.

  • Only Internet Explorer 11 is supported anymore -- all down-level versions of IE were put into end-of-life status in January.

If you need IE10 functionality for some reason, then you should be using Enterprise Mode in IE11 to set IE11 to use the IE10 rendering engine as needed.

  • thanks for you quick reply. It's strange that the IEAK 10 is no longer available but IEAK 9 is still downloadable for some reason. Just need IE10 for running older sites.

  • Ultimately, that's a question for Microsoft, but as noted, you shouldn't be using either since they are not supported at all. What you really should be working on is upgrading to IE11 across the board.

  • If you need to display older sites, you will need to enable Enterprise Mode in IE11.

  • oh well I strongly agree with you but our application management seems to be having some budget issues on updating their websites. Don't ask me why lol. thanks Jason

  • Start with the official documentation: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/itpro/internet-explorer/ie11-deploy-guide/enterprise-mode-overview-for-ie11
