It was just a minor change i.e in the NIC adapter there was an unchecked option "client for microsoft n/w" . It should be checked.

Thanks Terence Yu for ur support.

  • Hi
    1) c00706ba translates to RPC_S_SERVER_UNAVAILABLE

      2) Open properties of the network adapter, choose tcp/ip and click on properties

    3) In the TCP/IP properties click on Advanced and choose the tab DNS.

    4) Make sure that “Append these DNS suffixes (in order)" is not selected and there is no unknown DNS name listed.

    5) If the above setting is selected “Change the setting to Append primary and

    6) Flush and register the DNS information. To do this run the following commands from the command prompt,

    a) ipconfig /flushdns

    b) ipconfig /registerdns

    7) Check to see that you are able to open the Exchange system manager without any issues.

I have checked the Event viewer where the following error is continuously generating.

    Category: RFR Interface

    Event ID: 9074

Description: The directory service reffral interface failed to service a client request. RFRI is returning the error code: [0x3f0]
