    Outlook 365 not sending/receiving, don't remember pop or stmp password.  Nothing working.

    Does Outlook keep asking for password? What steps have you tried so far?

    For POP account, we can check the outgoing server settings.

    1. Go to File > Account Settings > Account settings.
    2. Double click your POP account and choose More settings.
    3. Under Outgoing Server tab, make sure Use same settings as my incoming mail server”option is selected.

    In addition, click on the Advanced tab and check if you have enter the correct Server Port Number and select the correct encrypt type. Below is a screenshot for a POP account:

    Normally, this issue could also be related with incorrect cached password in credential manager. To remove the corrupted credentials, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start > Control Panel > Credential Manager.
    2. Locate  the set of credentials that has Outlook in the name under Windows Credential.
    3. Click the name to expand the set of credentials, and then click Remove from Vault.
    4. Repeat step 3 for any additional sets of credentials that have the word Outlook in the name.
