Memory leak Bitmaps/Nhibernate... RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello All!

We are developing a large software with VB.Net for different customers. We needed about one year to develop the basics of the software. After our first installation at a customer we recognized, that there is a memory leak. We had now different tries to detect this leak. Also with the .NET Memory Profiler 3.5 but we still have the problem.

We are still not sure, where the problem comes from. We heard there is a problem with the Bitmap-Component. So we changed the whole code to remove manually always the image from the Bitmap-Component. The software has a lot of grafically displayed values. So the component is used very often.

It also could be a problem of the NHibernate, which is our interface to database.

Has anyone an idea what we can do to get this problem fixed? We would also pay for someone who could have a look at our software and figure out the problem. I don't think that this problem can be solved in a forum.
