    I cant delete this Word file.  Even tho I delete the file repeatedly - it still appaers when I reopen Word as a recent document.  Then when you click it it starts auotdownloading from the website.  How do I delete it once and for all??? Please help.

    Hi,

     

     

    You should try two things.  One is to rename the file.  It appears that Word "thinks" the document is already open which is why you cannot delete it and why it opens as read only.

    Another way which I have used is to move this one file into a new folder.  Then delete the folder.

    Be sure to have only this one file in the new folder.
