Registry key with hard coded paths RRS feed

    Hi,

    I have an application with a regsitry key which is hard-coded to point to a users appdata folder. So the regsitry actually contains a username. 

    How would I handle this is AppV? I go through installing the software and then I run the registry key at the end.

    Any ideas?

    The App-V sequencer should automatically change the hardcoded path to the variablized path in the virtual registry. If for some reason, it hasn't done that, you can change it yourself but I'd bet if you sequence the app, it will changed it and work.
