Word 2010 Crash on launch after VB update RRS feed

    Hi All,

    This is an odd one... aren't they all..

    When opening a Word document from explorer Word crashes however if I open Word FIRST then click Open and find the .doc or .docx then it opens fine and behaves.

    This happened as a direct result of a fix for Access where it would not run Wizards. I tried every suggestion including complete removal and re-install (Office), deleting wizards etc and the final solution was rename  C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\microsoft shared\VBA\vba7 folder..

    This forced, on relaunch of access, a detect and repair with an automated re-installation of vba7 components. This solved Access wizards problem but left me with the Word problem.

    I'm running Windows 7 home premium 64bit with Office Pro 2010 32bit.

    Any help would be greatly received.
