Visual Studio 2008 In Windows 7 and Windows XP RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am currently developing with Visual Studio 2008 (with SQL Server 2005) on Windows XP.  I want to get a new computer with Windows 7 and be able to develop the same projects on both the XP and the Windows 7 machines (not simultaneously, of course, but developing in one location on the XP machine and then transferring the files and developing on the Windows 7 machine in a different location, and vice versa).  Will this work?

  • You can check the software and hardware compatibility from Windows 7 Compatibility Center.
