Outlook 2013 reply color setting

    Question

  • I want to make reply text, always black.

Outloor 2013  i change reply message color in 'Stationery and Fonts' works fine, but after computer restart reply text goes to default blue.

I did full office repair via 'Program and features' , full office uninstall, clean registry, restart and full reinstall - no joy.
Outlook works in domain enviroment managed by exchange server.

    Please advice

  • Hi,

Does this issue happen to other font changes? Such as the composing font and color?

Outlook reply font settings are stored in the following registry path:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\MailSettings

Do you have any registry cleaner software which could restore the registry changes?

We may also try to run Outlook with administrator permission and then try to change the font color to see the result.

    Regards,

    Steve Fan

  • Using user profile i have followed registry path, and found some keys but don't know which one is for reply color.
I have sight in as administrator, added user to administrator group, log in as user with administrator rights changed reply color, but still after restart, color goes to default blue. As user got administrator rights i followed registry path again, and there was less registry keys.

At this point i have 3 user with the same issue. Users with outlook 2016 don't have this problem.
