    Hi Everyone,
    I am trying to update Windows 2008 R2, windows 2008 x86 and windows 2012 R2 servers with
    latest microsoft updatea and on all these 3 servers i am getting error 80072F8F.

    There  is no issue with time and date. I even ran system update readiness tool on windows 2008 servers.
    Still i am facing same issues. experts please do guide me

    So the same Windows Update error happens to all these three servers.
     
    Could you please share more details about your environment? I'm suspecting it might be something on your network side. Have you made any changes in your environment? Such as changes to the firewall rules or proxy settings?
     
    Here are a few more steps that you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
     
    Try to run the command below from an elevated command prompt:
     
    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
     
    Also, please try to reset the Windows Update components, and see if it helps:
