Installing Project Web App RRS feed

  • We have licenses for MS Project Online Professional and MS Office 365. We have installed Project Online Desktop Client (and MS Office 365 suite)

    We want to use the time sheet capability in Project.

    Can't figure out how to download and install the Project Web App to provide the time sheet front end?

    Project Web App is a web client, so you just have to log on the Project Online Portal, nothing to install.

    and go to the timesheet. There are a few prerequisites to do timesheets:

    • have users with the correct permissions/groups (project managers, team members....)
    • have resources in the enterprise resource pool
    • create projects, assign enterprise resources on tasks, publish projects
    • ....

    From the question you ask, I can say that you don't have much experience with PWA/Project Online. You have a set of configuration to do based on your organization processes and requirements. So you'd better contact a consultant firm to drive you through setting up the application. Otherwise you'll have soon a mess of data with no relevancy.
