Time tracking at top level (project level) Project Server 2010 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

What are the settings to enforce time tracking at project level in PS 2010?

NB: I dislike this kind of tracking but I have to use it :(

    Thanks

  • Server Setting>Time and Task Management> Time sheet Settings and Defaults

By default Time Sheet will b created using  ---- Select Current Projects.

I am not sure this will enforce but be default when they open their time sheet, they will be prompted to enter time against projects rather than tasks.

  • Please note, you likely don't want to set it up this way if you are using Single Entry Mode. You are simply capturing time in Project buckets, which aren't going to update your tasks as needed.
