[MAYBE OT?] - GPO to add "From.." and "Ccn.." buttons in new message ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I posted this question on Office Setup Deploy forum but nobody answer me.
I try to ask here hoping that I'm not OT.

I need to control in centralized mode some Outlook settings in a lan with an
SBS2008 server and mixed clients (XP,Vista,Seven) with Office 2007
    installed.

So I downloaded the adm templates for office 2007 from this url:

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=73d955c0-da87-4bc2-bbf6-260e700519a8

The installer generated three folders: ADM, ADMX, Admin

I copied in C:\windows\PolicyDefinitions\ all the .admx files present in the
"ADMX" folder generated by the installer
Then I copied all the .adml files present in the subfolders "it-it" in the
    relative C:\windows\PolicyDefinitions\it-it\

    Is this correct ?

I opened the GPO and configurated some settings but I did not find any
settings to add, in the new message window, the "Ccn" and "From.." buttons.

    Could you help me ?

    Thank you

  • If nobody answered there, then it's probably because nobody knew the answer.  That was probably the best place to ask.  Your question definitely isn't an Exchange Server question.
