    • Can you try to check if IIS VDIRs parameters are the same on both Virtual and Physical CAS Servers ?
    • Are your Mailbox Databases RPC Endpoints sets on Cas Array Or single Cas Server object ?

    Get-MailboxDatabase | fl name,RpcClientAccessServer

    • If this is on a single server and not on the cas array you can do the trick like this :

    Set-MailboxDatabase <name of DB> -RpcClientAccessServer "yourNLBFQDN.yourdomain.yourtld"

    • How do you set the Range Port and affinity on your NLB ?

  • Hi hodhod,

Just so I have a better understanding of the issue, is your NLB a hardware NLB (KEMP, F5, etc.)? Also, by not responding, are users not able to access thier email data? Thanks

  • Hi ,

Please test if you can access CAS via virtual ip or address.

If no, please refer to the following article.

Unable to connect to Windows Server 2008 NLB Virtual IP Address from hosts in different subnets when NLB is in Multicast Mode:
