Team,
We require help with respect to client connectivity issue which we are facing at our customer
Target Domain :- target.COM SMTP Domain :- abc.com
Source Domain :- source.com SMTP Domain :- abc.com
Problem :-- Externally outlook clients are not able to connect to exchange server and prompts continues for credentials.
Detail Description :- Client should connect outlook over the internet using outlook anywhere feature
External Connectivity :- From Internet à Public DNS -à Reverse Proxy à Load Balancer à Exchange Servers
Existing :- Currently we had disabled Autodiscover, OWA Url for security reason from their reverse proxy(Apache) and kept exchange EWS url accessible externally for outlook client access
Please suggest.

If Autodiscover is disabled on the reverse proxy then that's your issue. The first thing Outlook does when it starts up is to try to connect to Autodiscover. Depending on how you disabled Autodiscover, if Outlook resolves the Autodiscover address but can't login to it, then it will prompt the user for credentials.

Disable Mapi over Http and temporarily use Outlook Anywhere and see if issue disappears in Outlook 2010.
