Updating a multi value field in Project online from SharePoint designer 2013 workflow

Hi

I am wanting to update a custom field in project online from a SharePoint designer 2013. The field has been setup to accept multiple values which we don't want now, but seems we are stuck with that now. We are using the field as a status field. The workflow successfully updates the new option but it appends the new option rather than overwrite. How do we get the workflow to clear out the current values and update with the new values only? Normally the field should have only one value.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Fiona,

The UpdateCustomFields method is only avaiable using REST API. The REST method can be found at the following endpoint:

https://<site-url>/_api/ProjectServer/Projects('<guid>')/Draft/UpdateCustomFields()
