BSOD! RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello -

I recently had a computer built for me with 2 video cards(SLI), 2 processors(2.4GHz each), an MSI K8N motherboard and Vista Ultimate.  Some things got damaged during shipping because my friend is an idiot and didn't pack it correctly and the UPS seemed to have played a game of catch with this thing Sad Sad Sad (thanks guys)  It has been determined that the motherboard was damaged (no display) so i had that RMAd and now i get display.  One of the video cards was determined to not be working also ( wasn't getting a display)  now the one that does work does not allow me to boot into vista ultimate (gives me BSOD) safe mode works fine.  Now I figured that i fresh install would do the trick.  I installed XP and when i installed the video card driver and rebooted..BSOD..  does this seem like a pretty clean case of the other video card also being shot? or could it be something else.
