RD Gateway on UAG RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hi,

Can the RD Gateway on UAG be used in the traditional sense of the RD Gateway (using CAPs and RAPs)?

I do not see where I can configure CAPs and RAPs.

We are interested in using the MSTSC.EXE with the RD Gateway option selected (SSL over RDP) from the Internet concept...will UAG RD Gateway support this?

  • Hi,

You should not use the RD Gateway on the UAG machine for anything else but UAG. UAG changes its ports to internal ones and replaces the CAP/RAP with its own logic.

  • The question is how do you publish a farm of RD Gateway servers through UAG? Is there some guidance on this. I am assuming you cannot use UAG for this purpose and instead need to use TMG?

  • Hi Amigo. UAG is a RD Gateway. Deploying a farm of UAGs you will get a farm of RD Gateways. Could it be feasible?
