  • Hi all,

I'm trying to get OLAP cubes up and running on my 2010 Project Server. Builds are failing and I cannot work out why. Error message included below - any suggestions?

    Many thanks,

  • Hi John,

Please refer to this article by Brian:

    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/brismith/archive/2012/11/12/project-server-2013-requirements-to-build-an-olap-cube.aspx

It could be that you removed the SharePoint pre-requisite installer which is a requirement for the SQL native client.

    Hope this helps,

  • Looks like you need the SQL Native Client 10.0 from the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Feature Pack.

After installing, make sure you restart the Project Web Application Service, before building the OLAP cube.
