Restoring your computer. RRS feed

  • I'm trying to reset my computer back it's original factory settings. Completely clear it out and start all over again. I've never had trouble before now, but it's asking me for a Windows disc to reinstall Windows, but I don't even have a disk drive and I've never had to install it before.

How can I wipe my computer clean and get it back to it's original state when I first purchased it?

I'm not worried about any files or documents. There's nothing I need to save or backup.

  • Hi Stacey.

How did you install OS in first place? Did the PC come with already installed OS?

If you don't have DVD drive, you can install OS by using a bootable USB flash drive:

    Hope this helps.
