    Morning,

    I'm pushing out client to some of our DMZ servers. Client installation finished successfully as far as I can see from ccmsetup.log file.

    Investigating further, I noticed I kept getting the following in ClientIDManagerStartup.log:

    RegTask: Failed to send registration request message. Error: 0x87d00231

    Quickly googled the error and found a blog where it was recommended that I try and browse to the MP fro the server. So when I try and browse to

    http://mympserver.dzm.domain.com.com:8880/ccm_system_windowsauth/request, I get prompted to login and cancelling this gives me the 401 error.

    All the correct firewall ports are open and MP is configured to use HTTP protocol. 

    Any suggestions on what else this could be and how to troubleshoot? Thanks.

    Thanks.

    I have followed the instructions and made the changes. I've cleared everything on the client and started again.

    Now I am seeing the following error in ccmsetup.log when I try and push cliend install:

    GetDPLocations failed with error 0x80072ee2 ccmsetup 03/12/2012 17:23:35 1568 (0x0620)
    Location request failed with error 0x80072ee2, status code 200. MP could be busy at this moment. ccmsetup 03/12/2012 17:23:35 1568 (0x0620)
