Move project plans RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi to everyone,I want to move or copy our enterprise project plans that were created on a test project server to the production server.

Is there any smart way to move/copy 260 project plans to a new server ?

    Thanks!

  • Other than using the Database attach method, I am not sure if there is an easy to do it in bulk. May be other experts could come up with a "PowerShell" way...

If you have the budget, you might want to consider the "Project Migrator" solution from Fluent Pro.

  • In addition to Prasanna's excellent advise , you may also use macro to save each project plan as mpp and import into new environment. Though db attach method is easiest one
