  • Question

  • Hi,

Just bought new computer and I'm loading new software etc. on it and setting it up.

After loading my Epson printer software & driver I started getting the Blue screen.

It happens once every 30 to 60 minutes.

    Here is my crash info:

    Problem signature:
      Problem Event Name: BlueScreen

      OS Version: 6_1_7601
      Service Pack: 1_0

If the online privacy statement is not available, please read our privacy statement offline:

I can upload the 3 DMP files if you need them. I don't see a way to do it on this message.

    Thanks for your help.

According to the dump files you provide, I find the error “Probably caused by: GenuineIntel”. WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (124)

A fatal hardware error has occurred.

I suggest that we could boot into Clean Boot to avoid the effects of third party software.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135

For the error, it could be cause by the CPU. I suggest that we could go to the manufacturer’s official website and update both your BIOS, motherboard driver. Typically they show up as chipset or CPU drivers.

Hope it will be helpful to you

We do need the actual log files (called a DMP files) as they contain the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

Please follow our instructions for finding and uploading the files we need to help you fix your computer. They can be found here

According to the dump files you provide, I find the error “Probably caused by: GenuineIntel”. WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (124)

A fatal hardware error has occurred.

I suggest that we could boot into Clean Boot to avoid the effects of third party software.

For the error, it could be cause by the CPU. I suggest that we could go to the manufacturer’s official website and update both your BIOS, motherboard driver. Typically they show up as chipset or CPU drivers.

Hope it will be helpful to you
