Can an Attendee (who is not the Meeting Organizer) change the Meeting Time? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are a small law office running Exchange Server 2007 SP3.  Some of us use Outlook 2003, some 2007.  We have a paralegal/secretary who generally maintains our calendars.  She schedules and reschedules appointments when the need arises.  We would like her to be able to change, cancel, or modify any appointments.  However, when one of us creates an appointment, because we are the "meeting organizer" and she is merely an attendee, she cannot change the appointment.  So my question is as follows:

Is there a way to set up exchange so that someone who is not a meeting organizer can cancel or modify appointments for all attendees?

(I am aware that an attendee can propose a new time, which the organizer can then accept.  But what we want to happen is to give this paralegal authority or permissions so that she can modify or cancel all appointments - even those for which she is not the meeting organizer).

  • Give the paralegal editor or owner delegate rights to those calendars.
