  • Hi,

No, you can use Windows 10 Media Creation tool to download ISO image and you can upload it on SCCM, then when you deploy the TS, you specify the Windows edition as you like.

You can also download the Windows 10 Education ISO from the MVLS Center.

  • Hi,

As Kalyan and SAAD mentioned, we can not only use Windows 10 Media Creation tool to download ISO image but also download the ISO image from the MVLS Center.

    Based on my knowledge:
If we get the Windows 10 ISO from the Microsoft website it is in ESD (Electronic Software Download) file format.
If we get the Windows 10 ISO from other websites it is typically in the WIM (Windows IMaging)file format.

If we get the install.esd file instead of install.wim from the extracted ISO file, we should convert the .ESD file to .WIM file firstly, SCCM doesn't support .ESD file directly now. For more information, please refer to:
How to Convert ESD to WIM File on Windows 10?

Hope my answer could help you. Thanks for your time.

    Best regards,
    Simon
