Windows Hyper-V Server - Security Concern RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm planning infrastracture of corporate network and I supposed to have two independant servers with two independant networks. I'm going to install two virtual machines on Hyper-V 2012 Server and assign a different physical addapter to each of those machine. One of those networks supposed to be high security bank data/personal infomation priveledged and the other one is just public network. The two servers will not need to interact with each other in any way. I will uncheck the Access to Management System on the public network adapter so Hyper-V can only be managed from the secure network.

In past I would do it on two different physical computers and I will have no concern about security. Now I would like to use one physical computer with the set up as above. Do I need to have any concern about security or such a set up would be in all aspects similar to the two separeated physical servers?
