Email from IOS with attachments with 13 MB doesnt get sent and Warning Pop's up mailbox is full.

    Question

  • Hi There,

I am seriously strange situation. Only one of my Domain user , who send the email which is 13MB big from the iPhone, he gets the warning message showing:

    Your mailbox is Full.

and I have checked the Mailbox size and mailbox is not only even half full and also i have checked the Mail flow size limit and send and receive size is also 35MB and as well as the global transport config is 35MB size limit.

and then i have checked with same user with the same email with outlook from the desktop and we were able to send the email successfully but it didn't work with iPhone (Only with one user.).

I tried the same process with other account and even with bigger size of attachment and it worked and its not only working with one client and one device.

    Any help please.

  • Hi,

On exchange side, no specific message/attachment size limit for only one Active Device on only one mailbox.

You may check transport rule, or consider to re-configure this user's profile in IOS mail app on that device.

Meanwhile, check this user on other device (Andriod, IOS or Window phone)

  • The iPhone doesn't use transport to send and receive messages unless you've configured its mail client to use POP or IMAP, which use SMTP for sending.
