Question

I am working in Sharepoint 2007 - I have a user that has changed her Title. This was done in Active Directory, but the title has not changed in Sharepoint. Why is this? And where do I cahnge in in SPS?

I agree with Hemendra but the complete syntax to the command should be.
stsadm -o sync -deleteolddatabases 0
This will delete the old syncronisation entries and force SharePoint to recreate that. It is also recommended to stop the SharePoint Timer Job before the command and the start the service again.
A good blog post that helped me a couple of times can be found http://blogs.technet.com/b/nishants/archive/2010/08/23/troubleshooting-user-profile-sync-issues-in-office-sharepoint-server-2007.aspx

Hi,
You need to synchronize the user profile with AD again so make full crawl in your SSP or run below command:
stsadm -o sync
