  • hello everyone, my english is not so well, but i hope u can help me.

i have windows server 2008r2 as host.

    3 virtual machins at 'hyper-v' - dc-server2008r2. cl1-windowsXp. cl2-windows7 cl3-windows8.

my host surfing at WiFi, edimax.

my problem is that i cant connect my VM to the internet. i can create only privet and internal Vnetworks, cant make external 1, because (i guess) my physical network card is not connected to an internet cable. i saw in youtube that i can share my wireless with my Vinternal network, but i have no sharing tab at my host network connection -> propertis .

anyone know how to connect my Vnetwork to the internet?? thanks alot!!

  • You need to create an external network, that is the only option for VMs to access the internet.  You may be able to use your wireless card, but you still need to create an external network with it.  From the Virtual Network settings, you need to select the option "Allow management operating system to share this network adapter"
