Is it feasible to share service applications between SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint 2010 Farms?

Hi,
i would like to know if its feasible to share the service applications between sharepoint 2016 and 2010 farms?
Note: I will be migrating from sharepoint 2010 to 2013 and then to 2016, however i would like to know if its technically possible to publish any service application from sharepoint 2016 farm and consume the same in sharepoint 2013.
I am aware and have implemented this between N and N-1 versions of sharepoint, however is it feasible to do this between N and N-2 versions of sharepoint. i.e. between SP 2016 and SP 2010
Thank you!!

Hello Trevor,
Thanks for your response.
I hope this is possible between SP 2013 [as consumer] and SP 2016 [as publisher], the way its possible between 10 and 13.
Can you please confirm if only sharing of service application is possible between N and N-1 version??
Thanks in advance!!

Yes, it is only possible to share between N and N-1. In N-1 scenarios, the latest version of SharePoint must be the publisher.
